In observance of upcoming holidays (including Holy Week in Puerto Rico starting the week of March 29, 2021; Cesar Chavez Day in California on Wednesday, March 31, 2021; Transfer Day and Easter in the U.S. Virgin Islands from Wednesday, March 31 to Monday, April 5, 2021; and Good Friday on Friday, April 2, 2021), several U.S. courthouses, schools in session, and businesses may close. As a result, criminal searches and verifications with external dependencies are expected to be delayed by 24 to 48 hours. Delays for criminal searches and verifications with external dependencies in Puerto Rico may extend through the week of April 5, 2021 due to Holy Week. Criminal searches in the U.S. Virgin Islands are expected to be delayed by five to eight business days. We recommend that candidates and employees call their chosen collection site to verify hours of operation. Thank you for your continued trust in Sterling.
