As of Monday, March 4, 2024, Sterling is now processing criminal records in the 83 Kansas county jurisdictions that have completed updating their court case information. Estimated turnaround times for pending criminal checks will vary. Sterling is continuing to monitor and validate the progress of remaining counties.
As a reminder, updated criminal and civil record data from the Kansas Judicial Branch has been unavailable due to a technical issue with the state’s information system that occurred in October 2023.
