Starting Tuesday, March 4, 2025, a winter storm is impacting portions of the Central US, creating dangerous travel conditions and extended power outages that may result in possible criminal, civil, verification and drug & health screening service delays. In addition, extreme winds are impacting shipments of drug and occupational health screening specimen to major laboratories, adding to the screening delays.
Criminal and civil searches as well as verifications with external dependencies may be delayed. U.S. identity support sites in the impacted areas may also be closed, and users may experience higher than normal wait times at nearby locations outside of the impact area. Additionally, drug and health screening may be impacted in the area due to specimen transit delays. It is recommended that your candidates contact screening sites in the impacted area to confirm hours of operation and available services before visiting. Candidates should also be instructed to postpone any T-SPOT screening until weather conditions are improved.
We are closely monitoring the situations and will provide updates as they become available.
