Hurricane Debby made its final landfall in the Southeast US today, Thursday, August 8, 2024, impacting North and South Carolina. Its impact is expected to progress upward through the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states. The area is now under a tornado watch and is currently experiencing dangerous travel conditions, widespread flooding, and power failure. As a result, criminal, civil and verification searches with external dependencies may experience delays. U.S. identity support sites in the impacted area may be closed – users may experience higher than normal wait times at nearby locations outside of the storm impact area. Drug and health testing may be delayed as clinic sites and laboratories in the impacted area may be closed until conditions are safe. Additionally, specimen transit times are expected to be impacted due to flight delays and cancellations. We recommend that candidates and employees call their chosen clinic site to verify hours of operation before visiting. We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience.
