Starting on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, the Department of Justice (DOJ) National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW) became unavailable due to a data source outage.
As of Sunday, May 5, 2024, the California and Delaware Sex Offender Registries became available, however, the DOJ NSOPW website has not regained access to California and Delaware Sex Offender Registries. To minimize impact duration, we have secured an alternate method of automated fulfillment for impacted DOJ NSOPW searches by directly connecting to California and Delaware Sex Offender Registries. As a result, processing has resumed with turnaround time delays expected. The backlog of impacted searches is expected to clear by end of business on Monday, May 13, 2024.
