E-Verify photo match issue resolved

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, our E-Verify provider experienced a widespread issue with their photo matching tool. As a result, there were discrepancies where the photos transmitted by E-Verify did not align with the photos on the employees’ documents. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) quickly resolved the issue.

If you were impacted, please leverage the following steps to handle impacted photo match discrepancies:

  • Cases with erroneous photos should be closed, and new E-Verify submissions should be made to ensure the correct images are displayed properly to complete the photo match process.
  • Verify that cases did not mistakenly receive a Tentative Nonconfirmation (TNC) based on an erroneous photo match.

Thank you for your patience.
