The Social Security Administration (SSA) is conducting upcoming system maintenance on its Consent Based Social Security Number Verification (CBSV) service. Please note the CBSV service will be unavailable during the following two scheduled maintenance windows:
- Friday, October 20 at 11:00 p.m. ET until 6:00 a.m. ET on Monday, October 23, 2023
- Thursday, November 9 at 11:00 p.m. ET until 6:00 a.m. ET on Monday, November 13, 2023

As of September 6, 2023, Texas Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) searches became unavailable due to an issue with our provider. At this time, there is no ETA for restoration of record access. We are actively monitoring the situation to reinstate fulfillment as soon as possible and will share updates as they become available. Hurricane Idalia made landfall on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, impacting Florida’s Gulf Coast, Georgia, and the Carolina coastline. The area is experiencing widespread flooding and power failure. As a result, criminal, civil and verification searches with external dependencies may experience delays. Drug and health testing will be delayed as clinic sites and laboratories in the impacted area will be closed until conditions are safe. Additionally, specimen transit times are expected to be impacted due to flight delays and cancellations. We recommend that candidates and employees call their chosen clinic site to verify hours of operation before visiting. The planned Drug & Health Services (D&HS) system maintenance has been rescheduled to Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET. It was originally scheduled for Saturday, August 26, 2023. While our system is being upgraded, ordering of D&HS services will be unavailable and screening results will be delayed.
