Starting Tuesday, January 21, 2025, a rare winter snowstorm is impacting states in the Southeast US – including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas – creating dangerous travel conditions and extended power outages that may result in possible criminal, verification and drug & health screening service delays.
Criminal and civil searches as well as verifications with external dependencies may be delayed. US identity support sites in the impacted areas may also be closed, and users may experience higher than normal wait times at nearby locations outside of the impact areas. Additionally, drug and health testing may be impacted in these areas due to specimen transit delays. It is recommended that your candidates contact testing sites in impacted areas to confirm hours of operation and available services before visiting. Candidates should also be instructed to postpone any T-SPOT testing until the roads and airports in their area are operating normally.
We are closely monitoring the situations and will provide updates as they become available.
