While the National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW) source continues to experience intermittent availability due to data source issues, during non-business hours the website has been sufficiently available to allow processing of our search backlog. With current availability, processing of NSOPW searches is estimated to be returned to normal turnaround times by end of business, Monday, August 5, 2024. On Monday, July 29, 2024, we communicated that the NSOPW was experiencing ongoing intermittent availability due to data source issues with multiple states. As a result, NSOPW search fulfillment was delayed with a significant backlog.
We are actively monitoring the source availability, and will provide ongoing updates as they become available.

An Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage caused Sterling system and service issues on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 6:06 p.m. to 10:57 p.m. ET in the US. Please note the outage is now fully resolved. During the outage, U.S. clients may have experienced intermittent system and service issues that impacted order submission.
While the underlying issue has been resolved by AWS, you may continue to experience intermittent issues as services recover. If login or order submission is unsuccessful, we encourage you to re-attempt.

On Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at approximately 6:06 p.m. ET, you may have started experiencing intermittent Sterling system and service issues due to a widespread outage from our AWS provider. As a result, some U.S. clients are currently unable to submit orders via the Client Hub.

Continuing National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW) source availability issues over the weekend have resulted in an increased backlog of NSOPW searches as of today, Monday, July 29, 2024.
On Friday, July 26, 2024, we communicated that the NSOPW had been experiencing intermittent availability due to data source issues with multiple states. As a result, NSOPW search fulfillment was delayed. We expected that online source availability would improve during non-business hours, and the current backlog would be cleared by start of business, Monday, July 29, 2024. However, due to ongoing issues with multiple state sources over the weekend, searches continue to be delayed. We are actively monitoring the NSOPW availability, and will provide ongoing updates as they become available.
